Information you provide directly

• Fans: name, email address, account credentials
• Athletes: name, email, sport, team, Instagram handle
• Agents & Management: name, email, phone number, agency name, proof of representation documents
• Press & Media: name, email, phone, publication or outlet name
• All users: messages and inquiries submitted through the contact form

Information we collect automatically

• Browser type, device type, IP address
• Pages visited, time spent on site, referral source
• Cookie and analytics data (see Cookie Policy)

Information from third parties

• Publicly available athlete data used to create and populate athlete profiles (news sources, official team and league records, public social media)
• Instagram handle verification, initiated by the athlete directly

• To operate and improve the platform
• To respond to contact form submissions and route them to the appropriate internal team
• To verify athlete identity and process profile claims
• To send transactional emails (confirmation of contact form submission, claim link delivery, account updates)
• To analyze usage and improve the user experience
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Storied Sports publishes profiles for women athletes using publicly available information including career history, statistics, awards, and images sourced under editorial licensing. Athletes may:

• Request corrections to their profile at any time via the contact form
• Claim and verify their profile through our Instagram verification flow
• Request removal of their profile by contacting [privacy@storiedsports.com]

Requests are reviewed and addressed within 30 days.

We use the following third-party services in the operation of Storied Sports. Each has its own privacy policy governing their data practices:

• Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive), internal data storage and contact form logging
• Shopify, marketplace transactions (Phase 2)
• Instagram / Meta, athlete identity verification (athlete-initiated only)

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
