Terms & Conditions

These Terms apply to all users of the platform, including:

• Fans, users who create accounts to follow athletes and browse content
• Athletes, individuals who claim or verify their profile on Storied Sports
• Agents & Management, representatives who submit claims or inquiries on behalf of athletes
• Press & Media, journalists, producers, and media professionals using Storied Sports for research or coverage
• General visitors, anyone who accesses the platform without an account

You may browse Storied Sports without an account. Certain features, including following athletes and teams, accessing personalized content, and purchasing from the Marketplace, require a registered account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when creating your account
• Maintaining the security of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Storied Sports publishes profiles for women athletes using publicly available information. This is consistent with established editorial and sports media practice. Unclaimed profiles are created and maintained by Storied Sports using public data. They do not imply endorsement by or affiliation with the athlete. Verified profiles are claimed and managed directly by the athlete or their authorized representative. Verified athletes receive additional platform features and control over their profile content. Athletes or their authorized representatives may:

• Request corrections to profile content via the contact form
• Initiate profile verification through our Instagram verification flow
• Request profile removal by contacting [privacy@storiedsports.com]

Agents and management representatives who submit claims on behalf of athletes confirm that:

• They are authorized to act on behalf of the athletes named in their submission
• All information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge
• Submission of false or misleading information may result in account termination and legal liability

Storied Sports reserves the right to request additional proof of representation at any time.

If you submit content to Storied Sports, including messages, corrections, or profile information, you grant Storied Sports a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content in connection with operating the platform. You represent that any content you submit does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any athlete, agent, or Storied Sports staff member
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Submit false representation claims
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without written permission from Storied Sports
• Harass, threaten, or harm any other user or athlete

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

All content on Storied Sports, including editorial copy, design, layout, and the Storied Sports brand, is owned by Storied Sports or its licensors. Athlete images are used under editorial licensing. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Storied Sports content without prior written permission.

Phase 2, this section will be expanded when the Marketplace launches. The Storied Sports Marketplace connects fans with products associated with women athletes. Specific Marketplace terms, including seller responsibilities, purchasing terms, returns, and refunds, will be published in the Marketplace Seller Terms prior to launch.

Storied Sports is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of platform content. Athlete statistics, career history, and biographical information are sourced from publicly available records and may not reflect the most current information. Athletes and their representatives may request corrections at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storied Sports shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE, TBD], United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [STATE, TBD].

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
